On 17th August 2019, we celebrated World environment day with full vigour and enthusiasm. A wonderful cultural program was presented by the students of class VII under the guidance of their class teachers. The program began by seeking the blessings of the almighty which was followed by a prayer dance. Professor N.B.Singh was the chief guest of the day. The students also presented a skit based on the protection of the environment. They also explained the importance of three R’s- reduce, recycle and reuse. The students also took an oath to plant more trees and save the environment which was followed by the plantation drive during which saplings were planted by our respected principal, our chief guest and the students. The students were motivated to plant more and more trees in order to make the surrounding green.
